Braden was born with witch eyes: the ability to see the world as it truly is: a blinding explosion of memories, darkness, and magic. The power enables Braden to see through spells and lies, but at the cost of horrible pain.

After a terrifying vision reveals imminent danger for the uncle who raised and instructed him, Braden retreats to Belle Dam, an old city divided by two feuding witch dynasties. As rival family heads Catherine Lansing and Jason Thorpe desperately try to use Braden's powers to unlock Belle Dam's secrets, Braden vows never to become their sacrificial pawn. But everything changes when Braden learns that Jason is his father--and Trey, the enigmatic guy he's falling for, is Catherine's son.
To stop an insidious dark magic from consuming the town, Braden must master his gift—and risk losing the one he loves.
REVIEW:

I don't know what it is but I love books with magic. It's like it puts me in some kind of spell. (Darn already starting with my bad puns). Witch Eyes was an awesome book and did not lower my high expectations like with most books I read. I loved Braden and Scott Tracey's writing. Witch Eyes contained both magic-y goodness and a hint of romance. There are so many excellent aspects to Witch Eyes you cant even find a flaw.

The main character is Braden. Braden is very funny and can fend for himself. He is a warlock with magical powers like no other. He has witch eyes which are eyes that can break down things into layers we cant even see. He lives with his Uncle John who taught him everything he knows about magic and trains him. But after seeing what he thought was his uncle being killed he runs away to protect him. He ends up in Belle Dam a magical down where someone is out to kill him. In Belle Dam Braden discovers secrets of his life, secrets of his new town, and does all of that while fighting for his life.Oh and did I mention he is falling for his Dad's enemy's son?

Scott Tracey did an excellent job in writing Witch Eyes. He gave each character a distinctive voice and made them easy to relate to. He made an action-y book with an equal amount of romance and magic along the way. I also LOVED his back-stories for the creation of Belle Dam. Witch Eyes is a very unique and creative read and I cant say I've read a book that is like it before.

Overall I enjoyed Witch Eyes. It had both action, romance , comedy and my favorite of all MAGIC which made an enchanting read ( I cant stay away from bad puns) . Scott Tracey has a magnificent writing style and you can tell that every aspect had thought behind it. From beginning to end Witch Eyes doesn't slow down. is always something waiting for you around the corner. You should DEFINITELY pick up Witch Eyes. I'm dying for Demon Eyes.
