NEWSOUL
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

NOSOUL
Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are suspicious and afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

HEART
Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

REVIEW:
I dont think Incarnate really needs any introduction. Its a highly reviewed book and a lot of people have been dying to read. I practically did a back flip when it came in the mail. I was patiently waiting for it... well not patiently but I waited. After finishing the last page I was speechless.
Ana the main character is one that the reader will fall instantly in love with. She has that new puppy allure to her and gets a little bit feisty at times. Ana is a newsoul and is the only newsoul that exist in a world full of people who have been incarnated over a thousand times. She is either resented or embraced by people in the world and after years of suffering under her mother Li she finally goes into the world to find herself. She wants to know how she came into the world. She encounters everything on her journey from nearly dying from acid breathing dragons to a "knight in shining armor" who saves her. Ana's trait of innocence is one that I found very attractive in a character I guess. But she wasn't overly senile.Again like a cute little puppy exploring and wondering about everything.  Also she didn't allow people to just push her around either. She refused to be a second rate citizen because of her being a newsoul .
Jodi Meadows's writing was excellent. She never allowed for a dull moment to occur within the story. She combined both a journey of a character finding themselves in the world with both action, romance and mystery in equal parts combining to create an amazing book. I wasnt able to put Incarnate down until I was forced to go to bed and even then I read with my reading light. Also she created a strong and powerful voice for each of her characters. All of them were able to be distinguished from one another easily.  Her use of descriptions were great also I was able to create Ana's world in my head easily without the writing being over descriptive.
A factor that drew me into this book before even starting it was the cover. It is absolutely magnificent.  I think that's all I need to say about it.
This being one of my first incarnation books outside of the Blue  Bloods books was a great one to read. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Jodi Meadows combines all the characteristics you would love in a book and multiplies them by 2. If you want a book that has both a great story and loveable characters in one I would shove Incarnate in your face immediately. I would shove it in your face even if you werent looking for a book with those characteristics.

  2. Patrick, I'm totally going to read this now! I love how easily you fell in love with the characters and that Ana was so innocent, but in a puppy dog way! The only book I read that had reincarnation in it was Fallen and I didn't totally love that one so I'm excited to read this and hopefully love it! And you're totally right, the cover really is magnificent! Thanks for the great review Pat

  4. I've actually heard lots of mixed things about this book, and being the person I am, I tend to pay more attention to the negative aspects. But according to you, there are no negative aspects! Incarnation is not usually my thing, but there are few exceptions, and I think this book will have to be one. Can't wait for its release and thanks for the review! :)
