A zombie who yearns for a better life ends up falling in love—with a human—in this astonishingly original debut novel.

R is a zombie. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams. He doesn’t enjoy killing people; he enjoys riding escalators and listening to Frank Sinatra. He is a little different from his fellow Dead.

Not just another zombie novel, Warm Bodies is funny, scary, and deeply moving.

REVIEW:
Zombies! Warm Bodies is the first book I've read about zombies. I wasn't sure if I was going to like a book about zombies but I absolutely loved it. I devoured Warm Bodies like zombies do brains. Coming from the viewpoint of a zombie was interesting.I loved feeling everything the main character went through even the eating of brains wasn't disgusting. It made the book even greater. The book centers around a zombie named R.
R is different from the other zombies. After saving a human during a hunting trip he becomes even more different. He doesn't need human brains to stay alive. Did I mention he falls in love with a human. R is intriguing he can think unlike other zombies. He can even talk a little. R is the center of drama in both the zombie world and the human hideout.  Everything I've mentioned about R makes him the perfect MC.
The writing of Isaac Marion is good. I loved the way he wrote with detail but not overloading us with every little detail. He also includes some comical elements in his writing. You can tell a distinct difference in the speaking between R and Julia. They each have there own way of speaking and tone of voice. Also the way Mr. Marion wrote his was excellent for the action packed romance.
In all Warm Bodies was an excellent book. It  mashed together supernatural romance, action, and comedy.   It will leave you craving more from the life of R when the book ends. Warm Bodies was an excellent zombie book and I would recommend it to those looking for a supernatural romance. The writing is marvelous and keeps you on the end of your seat with action until the end.Go read this AWESOME book
