After inheriting the dark Van Alen Legacy, Schuyler fled to Florence with her forbidden love, Jack. Now the two of them must embark on the mission Schuyler was destined to complete: to find and protect the five remaining gates that guard the earth from Lucifer, lord of the Silver Bloods.

Back in New York, Mimi has been elected Regent of a crumbling coven. Struggling with her heartache over the loss of Kingsley and with her overwhelming desire to destroy Jack, she must focus all of her energy on a perilous new threat. Vampires are being abducted and their captors are planning to burn them alive online…for all the world to see. Help arrives in the form of Deming Chen, a Venator from Shanghai, who must untangle the web of deceptions before the killers strike again.

As the young vampires struggle for the survival of the coven, they uncover a deadly secret, a truth first discovered by Schuyler’s mother during the Renaissance but kept buried for centuries. And as the Blue Blood enclave weakens yet further, fate leads Schuyler to a terrible choice that will ultimately map the destiny of her heart. (Goodreads)

REVIEW:
If you haven't read any of the Blue Bloods books before: What are you waiting for?  Misguided Angel is the 5th book in the exciting Blue Bloods series. The books follow the wealthy vampires of New York. The main character is Schuyler Van Allen a Half- Blue Blood , who doesn't like half bloods right? The books follow her life as she dodges the evil Silver Bloods and her brother who wants to kill her for taking her brother/husband. Confused? Well imagine all of that while stopping all of hell from breaking loose, literally.
Although I was a little upset the book did nothing to advance the plot, the book was still a great read. There was action after every twist and turn in the book. The characters are well written each having a distinct voice. Misguided Angel also had a lot of suspenseful points in which your jumping out of your skin to read what happened next. Once you get pas the first chapters or so the action picks up.  I was mad when I got to the end.  If you've read the other books you'll be happy with the next installment to the Blue Bloods series.
So if you love those upperclass teens with fangs this book is for you. It has action, suspense, mystery, and a dash of romance to add to the overall goodness of the book. The cover is just icing on the cake. I give Misguided Angel a 4/5 overall. Go and get the thrilling 5th installment of the Blue Bloods series.
