Title: Bonechiller

Rating: 4/5

Danny’s dad takes a job as caretaker at a marina on the shore of a vast, frozen lake in Harvest Cove, a tiny town tucked away in Canada’s Big Empty. If you’re looking for somewhere to hide, this is it.
It’s the worst winter in years. One night, running in the dark, Danny is attacked by a creature so strange and terrifying he tries to convince himself he was hallucinating. Then he learns about Native American legends of a monster that’s haunted the lake for a thousand years. And that every generation, in the coldest winters, kids have disappeared into the night. People think they ran away.
Danny knows better. Because now the beast is after him.

Simply one of the best thrillers I've read so far.  This has to be one of the best monster books I've read also. It keeps you on the edge of your all the way up to the last page of the book. I wish he would write another book. Mr Graham did an excellent job in the execution of the book.  The way he writes makes you feel like your being chased by the Windigo along with the main character. I was afraid to take the trash out in the dark a couple of days after reading the books.

The book is about a boy and his friends being chased by a human eating Native American monster called a Windigo. The overall layout of the  story is simply amazing. Not at any part of the book was I ever bored.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys scary or thrilling novels. The monster in this book will give you nightmares for nights. Overall I give it a 4/5 .

  1. Hmm. This sounds a lot like The Shining to me. In The Shining, a boy's dad takes a job as a caretaker at a grand old hotel. (The boy's name is also Danny.) Then they're assaulted by images of dead people and all sorts of hallucinations, and... well, I won't ruin it for you. But yeah. :P

  2. Another thing is this monster only likes Caucasian males.

  3. I have never seen this book.
Seems interesting with that monster appearance.
Will noted this and find the excerpt.
I hope you wrote its publication date
